Key Logistics:
  • Counselor Visit:       Hunt MS counselors will be at Staley MS on  Monday, January 12th, 2026.
  • Staley Parent/Student Information Night @ Hunt MS:   Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 from 5:30 - 6:30PM
  • Course Selection:    Be sure to select "BAND" on the course selection card.
  • Meet the Directors:  Mrs. Vaerewyck & Mrs. Perley will visit the Staley band classes in the coming weeks & months to meet students!
Audition Information for 2026-27 school year:
  • Audition Music: Audition music will be passed out to students and posted on this page of our website on April 7th.  Students will be asked to play 1 major scale out of all the scales that they know. Students will also play a chromatic scale in the range that they feel comfortable.​
  • Timing:  Auditions will take place beginning on the first week of May 2026. 
  • Location: Hunt band directors will listen to auditions at Staley MS during band classes.
